A HOST OF CSU MONTEREY BAY STUDENT INTERNS WORKED TO ASSURE THAT THE DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES AND TECHNICAL NEEDS OF THE VISUALIZING ARCHAEOLOGY WERE FULLY AND EFFECTIVELY SUPPORTED.

Visualizing Archaeology Project Interns

Connor Impey is a student of Social and Behavioral Sciences under the concentration of Archaeology at California State University Monterey Bay. He spent a year in South East Asia exploring and studying the architectural ruins of Angkor Wat Cambodia and countless Japanese shrines. His experience includes the exploration of Hawaiian burial caves, and many paleontological digs around his hometown of Santa Cruz Mountains California. Connor’s great ambition for the future is to find and map ancient temples especially in the Central America area, using a wide array of modern machinery such as LiDAR technology.

Jessica Morrow is a student at California State University of Monterey Bay in the department of Social and Behavioral Sciences department. Graduating in Spring 2015 with a major in Archaeology and minor in Visual and Public Arts. After graduation she hopes to get involved in the art and history museum field and further her education in museum studies.
